Business Women of Central Minnesota is a non-profit organization that focuses on personal and professional growth to benefit women at every stage of their careers.  We further our mission through fund raising efforts that support local organizations such as Anna Marie's, Boys & Girls Clubs Smart Moves for Girls Program, Girl Scouts, and Child Care Choices.  We also award two scholarships to non-traditional female students each year.

 

Business Women of Central Minnesota offers many benefits:

  • We create social opportunities that help develop friendships and networks, which are created at our monthly  meetings, Coffee Club gatherings, and other events that take place throughout the year. 

 

  • You will be able to develop and enhance your leadership skills by joining committees and taking leadership roles within our organization.

 

  • We provide educational opportunities through our speakers at our monthly meetings.  

 

  • We also offer our members the ability to learn from other leaders of women-owned businesses by attending our Brown Bag lunches in the spring and fall.

Joining our organization automatically makes you a member of the State organization.  Minnesota Business Women holds workshops and networking opportunities for its members three times a year.  They also provide advocacy on work-life effectiveness and workplace equity issues.
